Symba Agent Spotlight: Willy Guerra

Welcome to our Symba “Real Estate Agent Spotlight"  Q&A, where we feature the top-performing agents in the industry. Our mission is to highlight real estate agents who are not only successful but also forward-thinking and loved by their clients. We believe that success in this industry is not just about closing deals but also about building strong relationships with clients. The agents we select have made a quick start in their career and have demonstrated their commitment to creating a process that makes the home buying and selling journey an enjoyable one for their clients.

This week’s agent is Willy Guerra. Willy has only been a full-time agent for 7 months but he has closed 13 deals for a total of $4.9 million in sales volume.

Q: How long have you been an agent?

Willy: On July 1st 2022 I stepped down from my management position at my previous job and on December 28th I fully quit my job and became a full-time agent.

Q: Where are you a licensed agent?

Willy: Maryland. The goal is to become licensed in Washington, DC and Virginia this year.

Q: What inspired you to become an agent?

Willy: The potential of no limits on my income and free time.

Q: What is one thing you hope your clients say about you after they work with you?

Willy: I hope my clients say that I was genuine with the process, that I hold my standard of service to my clients extremely high, that I'm knowledgeable about my profession, and that I was quick to communicate.

Q: How do you prioritize your clients’ needs and ensure their satisfaction throughout the buying and selling process?

Willy: I have a team and super supportive brokerage that gives me the resources to service my clients at the highest level. Everyone I have on my team from lenders, title companies, inspectors and transaction coordinators all service my clients to the level I would if I were doing that job myself.

Q: What has been the most surprising thing you’ve learned since being an agent?

Willy: Every single transaction is different. They all bring a new challenge and no one client is the same.

Q: What is the most difficult thing about being a real estate agent?

Willy: Discipline and consistency. These two could be said for any job or hobby but in real estate accountability is held within ourselves and we are responsible to do what we need to continue to grow our business even on the days we don't feel like it.

Q: What do you believe sets you apart from other agents?

Willy: Attention to detail and focusing on the needs of my client(s). My patience in making sure that my client finds exactly what they are looking for regardless of how many homes or how much time passes by. I will never get drained of the process. I truly love real estate.

Q: Do you have a specialty in the real estate market?

Willy: So far most of my business has been first time home buyers.

Q: What is the most rewarding thing about being an agent?

Willy: My family and I would talk for years about buying our ideal home. I remember the feeling of walking in and getting the feeling that this is the one. Being able to show a property and seeing families and friends get that same feeling and being a part of that journey and process has to be the most rewarding part of what I do.

Q: How has Symba helped you with your business?

Willy: Symba in my opinion is an app I have been looking for since I started. Organization is important in this business and once I saw the services Symba provides I didn't second guess myself to start using their app.
